The 649m2 strata titled site was purchased for its incredible eastern river and northern park views. This section of river opposite Blackwall Reach is the narrowest part of the Swan River and is the only access for river traffic to Fremantle.
The proximity of the adjacent Chidley Point Reserve and Point Walter Golf Course across the river ensures a constant abundance of bird life which reinforces a rural setting within Mosman Park.
The design intent was to celebrate the sites uniqueness by paying total respect to the view by introducing the river and its excitement to nearly every room within the residence.
The design philosophy was to treat the residence as an ‘open pavilion’ which focused upon the river and park.
