new home, completed 2000
Project Description
The clients for this Yallingup ‘weekender’ requested “….a raw and contemporary design to sit lightly within its bush setting and provide an unconventional, non-suburban, fun getaway.”
It became clear upon visiting the 3 hectare virgin site that the bush setting was the “architecture” and the building should be merely the viewing deck from which to enjoy its aesthetic.
